Global third-party sourcing with a fully managed logistics service. At Bitmalo, you choose the car and pay; we handle inspection, purchase, export, shipping, Swiss customs (BAZG) clearance, and door delivery nationwide. Client vehicles on this lane typically arrive via EU seaports with bonded transit (e.g., Antwerp/Zeebrugge, Rotterdam) at sea and Zürich (ZRH) and Geneva (GVA) by air. How it works (hands-off in 4 steps)

  1. Pick your car – Go to Cars and message Bitmalo.
  2. Order inspection (paid separately) – We verify VIN/variant, emissions/equipment, and issue a CH-ready condition report and paperwork set.
  3. Approve & purchase – If satisfied, pay 100% up-front by bank transfer.
  4. Move & deliver – We arrange air or sea with all-risk cover, coordinate BAZG clearance/arrival charges, and deliver to your address anywhere in Switzerland.

Payments & timing

  • Inspection fee – upfront to begin (no deposit required).
  • Purchase – 100% up-front by bank transfer.
  • Import customs & arrival charges – settled by us via our forwarder/broker and re-invoiced to you. We issue a pre-alert with ETA to your selected EU seaport or Swiss airport and your delivery window.

Note on taxes & fees: Switzerland typically applies automobile tax (Automobilsteuer) 4%, import VAT (8.1%), and where applicable customs duty (per tariff), plus handling charges. At registration, expect cantonal fees and possible CO₂ levy based on vehicle profile.

  • Drive side – LHD standard. RHD can be registered with beam-pattern and lighting conformity.
  • Approval path – CoC (if available) or individual approval at MFK; we outline the recommended route with your cantonal Strassenverkehrsamt / Service des automobiles.
  • Emissions & equipment – Euro class verification; km/h speedometer, rear fog/indicator color, and lighting checks for right-hand traffic.
  • Paperwork fit – VIN/chassis, bill of sale, export title/registration, and translations aligned to BAZG/ASTRA/cantonal expectations.

Shipping & insurance

  • Air & ocean — Air freight direct to Switzerland, or ocean via EU ports with bonded onward transit.
  • Seaport routing (via EU) — Commonly Antwerp or Bremerhaven, then T1 bonded transfer to the Swiss border; other EU ports on request.
