Backend Engineer – Platform & APIs

Overview

Be in charge of core services that power listings, logistics integrations, and customer dashboards. Deliver dependable APIs that scale with the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs and data workflows
• Integrate external sources (marketplaces, shipping, identity)
• Optimize latency, caching, and data models for scale and reliability
• Partner with Frontend and Product on delivery of new features

Qualifications

• Proficiency in a modern backend stack (Go/Python/Node/Java)
• Strong SQL/NoSQL design; queues/streams experience is a plus
• Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, CI/CD, and monitoring familiarity
• Pragmatic approach to testing and code reviews

Compensation

$140,000—$220,000 USD + equity + performance incentives
